Darren Robb – Managing Director
Darren is the commercial director behind Facteq. Coming from a carpentry and furniture making background, he has 20 years’ experience in the industry, ten of which self-employed. Darren shifted his experience towards mechanical furniture and lean manufacturing following the Irish recession and hasn’t looked back.
Continually upskilling, and hungry for knowledge, he has a strong vision for implementing innovation into the workplace. Darren’s vision has now turned from an idea, to ground-breaking new furniture systems for cleanrooms and beyond. High on Darren’s agenda is customer service, and, in his own words, “top quality products should be matched by top quality customer service!”
Ian Irwin – Managing Director
Ian is the operational director in Facteq. With a background as a carpenter and furniture-maker, he has over 30 years’ experience, with much of this time spent in supervisory roles.
Ian is the driving force in managing projects on the factory floor. His experience is vital for meeting project deadlines and delivering quality products. After spending years as a mechanical fitter alongside Darren, Ian also has a strong vision for the future of the business, from using the very latest in high-end machinery, to developing new and exciting products, Ian’s goal is to make Facteq a game changer.
